Iain MacDonell
Born in Dunoon, Scotland, Iain grew up in Edmonton. He has 30 years real estate experience, 10 years in Calgary with Remax, 20 years with a leading west side company, and currently, Remax Select Properties. He is a five-year member of the MLS Medallion Club with the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. Having owned his own businesses in the past, such as Boston Pizza restaurants and shoe store outlets, Iain has extensive experience in both residential and commercial real estate. Iain's strengths are in his ability to negotiate, his quickness with numbers and his understanding of what it takes to make a business profitable. His outgoing, fun personality enhances each transaction. Iain has sold a development site in Zihuatanejo, Mexico to Intrawest, and recently sold a second site there, numerous bed and breakfasts in Vancouver,over 60 Subway franchises, numerous Wendy's Restaurants, Boston Pizza, and many other businesses from office furniture, to computer stores, restaurants, hotels and development sites.
Laurie MacDonell
Born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, Laurie grew up on a farm in Western Canada. After extensive travel and work overseas, Laurie completed 14 years in hotel sales and marketing in Calgary and Vancouver. Starting with a prominent west side company in 1992, and with her recent move to Remax Select Properties, Laurie has a wide range of knowledge and energy for selling real estate. She is a five year member of the MLS Medallion Club with the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. She consistently lists and sells condos, townhouses, and homes in Vancouver and outlying areas. Laurie is a great listener and knows her product well. Her ability to relate to her clients needs help make each purchase or sale a rewarding experience.
Iain and Laurie currently live with their two Bichons in a home they renovated near Jericho Beach in Vancouver. They enjoy their work, their friends, their city, Mexican vacations, and summers in Savory.
